Food, Culture, Fun...
The NC Japan Festival, organized by the Nippon Club of the Triangle, and co-sponsored by the Town of Apex, returns this year and will be held in Apex, NC, on Saturday, October 1, 2022. A spacious, outdoor venue with an indoor/outdoor Community Market where everyone can all celebrate in comfort and enjoy delicious authentic Japanese food, unique crafts and goods, traditional cultural displays and activities, and lots of exciting music, dancing and other Japanese entertainment.
What is NEW this year? MORE FOOD! Professional food vendors to supplement traditional
favorites offered by the Nippon Club and to ensure there is enough for everyone. Better line control, including an express line for cash sales. A larger Community Market with more vendors and exhibitors. And cooler outdoor weather in the fall on more spacious grounds with plenty of free parking. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. However, no outside food or drinks are permitted.

There is a lot of great entertainment planned for our annual Festival, including traditional obon dancing, taiko drumming, martial arts demonstrations, and contemporary musical performances by local Japanese artists. See our PROGRAM page for more details.
